Mr Javed Nazir
Principal Solicitor

Mr. Javed Nazir became a qualified Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in November 2007. He subsequently achieved qualification as a Barrister at Law of England and Wales, being called to the Bar at The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. Presently, Mr. Nazir serves as the Principal Solicitor at Javed Nazir Solicitors.

In his professional capacity, Mr. Javed Nazir is deeply involved in all facets of Housing Law and Landlord and Tenant law. As a pivotal member of the civil team, he adeptly handles an extensive variety of cases, with a particular focus on housing-related matters and the public law dimensions of housing law. His practice encompasses diverse areas, including possession claims, injunctions, anti-social behavior orders, housing disrepair, unlawful eviction, and homelessness cases. Mr. Nazir’s work extends to actions against local authorities, housing associations, other public sector landlords, and private landlords. His proficiency lies in tenant representation, spanning complex housing and possession cases. He is known for drafting intricate defenses in possession cases and actively participating in court hearings. Additionally, Mr. Nazir serves as a legal aid supervisor for Housing & Debt law and is an accomplished litigator in Civil Litigation matters.

Mr. Javed Nazir’s expertise extends to his involvement in Family and Matrimonial law, covering a wide range of issues arising from relationship breakdowns, such as Divorce, Children matters (Residence, Contact, Parental Responsibility), Care Proceedings/Disputes, and financial matters stemming from such situations.

In the realm of Immigration, Mr. Nazir stands out for his exemplary work. He takes on significant cases at various levels, from The Supreme Court and The Court of Appeal to the Administrative Court and the Upper Tribunal, engaging in statutory appeals, Judicial Reviews, Appeals in the First Tier Tribunal, and administrative reviews to the Home Office. He handles complex matters including spouse visas, visit visas, asylum and humanitarian protection, cases involving children’s best interests, and issues related to Leave to Remain, Leave to Enter, discretionary leave, detention cases, and deportation appeals.

With a comprehensive grasp of both residential and commercial conveyancing, Mr. Javed Nazir has been actively involved in conveyancing work since 2007. Fluent in Urdu and Punjabi, Mr. Nazir’s hourly rate is £282, though in complex cases, it ranges between £300 and £350.

Mr Ejaz Ahmed

Mr Ejaz Ahmed qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2008.

Mr Ahmed has been with Javed Nazir Solicitors since 2014 as a Solicitor.

Mr Ahmed practices in all aspects of Housing Law, Landlord and Tenant law. As a member of the civil team, Mr ahmed conducts a comprehensive range of cases with particular emphasis on housing-related matters and public law aspects of housing law. In this regard, his practice comprises all areas of housing law including possession claims, injunctions, anti-social behavior orders, housing disrepair, unlawful eviction, homelessness cases. He is a litigator.

Mr Ejaz Ahmed has been dealing with immigration matters sine 2008. He deals with spouse visas, visits visas. He has very substantial immigration experience in FTT, UT, High Court and appellate court practice.

The hourly rate of Mr Ahmed is betwen £250-£280

Mr Badar Jamil

Mr Jamil qualified as Solicitor of England and Wales in September 2011

Mr Jamil has been with Javed Nazir Solicitors since 2015 as a Solicitor.

Mr Badar Jamil practices in all aspects of Housing Law, Landlord and Tenant law. Mr Jamil conducts a comprehensive range of cases with particular emphasis on housing-related matters. In this regard, his practice comprises all areas of housing law including possession claims, injunctions, anti-social behavior orders, housing disrepair, unlawful eviction, homelessness cases. He is a litigator.

He deals with spouse visas, visits visas and work permits.  He has very substantial immigration experience in FTT, UT, High Court and appellate court practice.

Apart from English Mr Jamil is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi and speaks Seraiki as well.

Mr Jamil’s Hourly Rate is bewteen £250- £280.00 per hour.

Ms Zobia Mahmood
Solicitor/Consultant

Ms. Zobia Mahmood is a qualified Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales since 2022. She completed her training contract at Javed Nazir Solicitors. Zobia earned a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Middlesex University and subsequently accomplished her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, concurrently obtaining her LLM (Masters of Law). During this period, she consistently volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau located at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Since 2019, Ms. Zobia Mahmood has been an integral part of Javed Nazir Solicitors. She began as a Legal Assistant, progressed to a trainee Solicitor, and currently serves as a fully-fledged Solicitor. Her practice encompasses a diverse spectrum of Housing Law and Landlord and Tenant matters. Ms. Mahmood handles a broad range of cases with a distinct focus on housing-related concerns, including possession claims, injunctions, anti-social behavior orders, housing disrepair, unlawful eviction, and homelessness cases.

In addition to her housing law expertise, Ms. Mahmood also handles spouse visas, appeals, and possesses experience in managing Judicial review applications and appeal matters within the First Tier Tribunal and Upper Tier Tribunal.

Beyond her proficiency in English, Ms. Zobia Mahmood is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi languages. Her hourly rate is £185.00.
